Marble in interior design – Yes or No?

Felt furniture pads

What springs to mind when you hear the word marble? Obviously, the first things that come to your mind are cold rooms with a heavy interior, large halls with monumental columns and sculptures, gray old-fashioned designs, right? But what if I tell you that marble has made a modern comeback and, if used in moderation, can give a classic touch to your interior and still stay up-to-date. Here are some ways to use marble:

    • Marble decorative items will elegantly fit into almost any interior design. Neat vases and candlesticks are refined decorative items. Used correctly, they add sophistication and style;
    • Marble is a great choice for making a coffee table. The natural stone countertop does not require the use of stands and coasters. Such a table easily withstands spilled drinks, which will certainly happen sooner or later;
    • Marble is a durable and wear-resistant natural stone, so it is not surprising that it is used as a material for flooring. It is eco-friendly and has good water resistance. To save a beautiful look of such floor remember to use felt furniture pads and your marble flooring will serve you longer!
